Create a file in C++

In C++ a file is created automatically when you open the file (for writing) that in fact does not exist.
Example:
char *fname="C:\\testafile.txt";
ofstream fout;
fout.open(fname,ios::out);
The line of code f.open(finame,ios::out); will create a new file called testafile.txt in drive C if it does not exist.
