To create a horizontal line in an HTML page, you will use the <hr /> tag. The <hr/> tag can be used to separate the content of the page.

Example:

<html>
<head>

<title>The page title</title>

</head>
<body>

<p>This is the paragraph1</p>

<hr/>

<p>This is the paragraph2</p>

</body>

</html>

Note: The <p> is used to paragraphed text.
