Import And Linked TableXI. Import TableImporting Table is a process of getting a table or the tables into current access database from another access database. Example below will show how to import TblCustomer from SaleAndStock database to Database1. To do so, follow the steps:- Open Database1 database - Click External Data tab - Click Import Access Database as a demonstrable figure: ![]() A Get External Data-Access Database dialog appears: ![]() - Click Browse button to look for location of Database1 database - Click Ok You will get an Import Object dialog box below
- Click any table you want to import - Click Ok XII. Linked TableLinking table is a process of connecting table from a database to another database and those tables have the same effects when you insert data, edit data and delete data. Linking table is similar to importing tables. But you have to select the second option as shown in the figure below.
