Sometimes when you create a macro, you may miss to fill in some information or you want to add more information to the macro. So you need to edit the macro. To edit the macro, do the following:

- Open the macro you want to edit in Design view

- Click the macro action you want to edit

- Change the information of action as you need

- Save the changing of macro

Before you can run the macro, Access requires you to save it first. After you saved the macro, you find the macro's name is suitable to the macro; you can rename it. To rename the macro, follow steps below:

- Close the macro if it is opening

- In the Navigation Pane under the Macro, right-click the macro you intend to rename

- Click Rename

- Set a new name for the macro and then press Enter key

When you don't need the macro you created, you can remove it from your database. To delete the macro, do the following:

- Close the macro if it is opening

- In the Navigation Pane under the Macro, right-click the macro you intend to delete

- Click Delete

Or

- In the Navigation Pane under the Macro, click the macro you intend to delete

- Press Delete key

Access displays a message to ask you to delete the macro or not. Click Yes to delete the macro.
